We have 4 dogs - two planned and two rescued. Beau showed up in our neighborhood as a stray. He was extremely thin - about 35 pounds - and had obviously been on his own for a while . He was so weak that I had to literally carry him into our backyard. We decided to look after him until we could find him a forever home and named him Beau. Five years later he is in his forever home - ours - and has been renamed "Beau The Best Dog on Earth". He is a healthy and happy 70 pound dog who gently takes care of our other three dogs and guards his backyard domain. He remains a bit skittish of loud noises and people he doesn't know, but has made wonderful strides since he has been here. I truly can't imagine life without him.
