We adopted Cassie from the kill section of our local shelter 2 days after losing our Cocker Spaniel Sparky. She was just 4 or 5 months old and full of energy. She's one of the most loving, and yet stubborn, dogs I've ever known. She snuggles right up next to us on the bed sometimes with her head on our pillows.
