Cries For Help

I was sitting at my computer, early October 2018, when I heard a kitten crying. My computer is near my bedroom window. I looked out because I thought it was in the tree outside. When it cried again and again, I determined that it was in my neighbor's yard downstairs but couldn't see anything.

Poor little kitty cried and cried until finally when my neighbor came home, I asked her about it. She said she heard it but because she's allergic to animal fur she couldn't get it. She let me go into her yard and when I called "kitty, kitty" I heard the meow again and followed towards the tree.

I found the poor abandoned kitty, under a pile of wet leaves. I brought him home and wrapped him up to warm him. I took him to my vet next morning who found nothing wrong except "he's 3 wks old, cold and hungry". The vet gave me kitty milk and I took him home.

He drank a lot of the milk but when he notice my other cats food, he dug in! And he hasn't stopped raiding the other cats bowls when he get the chance! I named him Malcolm(after a Star Trek character I like) and his BD is 9/2/2018. He's happy and secure now and sleeps with me every night and I think he knows I'll never abandon him. I love my boy Malcolm.
