Max is a shepherd mix that a friend found on the side of the road as a puppy. He was headed to our local shelter, but my husband and I rescued him - or should I say he rescued us. Life was never the same at our house. We recently lost Max to stomach bloat. We were able to enjoy Max for a wonderful 11 years. We miss him terribly, and he will live in our hearts forever!
