A few years ago,, my oldest daughter called me and asked me if I still wanted a kitty,,, and of course I said yesssss !!,, She said she knew of a kitty that was older ,, and rest of the kitties were just kittens and she thought if he doesn't get rescued she feared hed be put down,, well I talked it over with my husband George,, and I said to him,,, I cant know about this kitty and not take him,,,,, I was crying knowing that the kitty needed a rescue, and of course my husband agreed that he needed a forever loving home and that it would be ours,,, I was sooo excited,, when I saw Murphy,, he was so thin,,, but he soon gained weight and thrived in our home ,, and he had a puppy sister to play with ,, whenever Murphy wanted food in his bowl,, he would go into the cabinet and knock only his cans onto the shelf LOL,,,, he was a wonderful kitty,, we had him for 6 years and he had a wonderful life with us,, I lost him almost 3 years ago,, a year after my husband George passed from cancer,,, now I have another kitty and she is a recue as well ,, her name is Sadie,, and she so sweet,, I love all animals,,, God bless the work you do ,,,
