Only Kitten Left

Chino was a true rescue. I found him curled up on top of the rest of his dead siblings. Mama had been killed by a dog that had been trained to hunt down and kill other animals. Chino was about 6-7 weeks old at the time. I scooped him up immediately as there was NO WAY I could leave him behind to starve or be killed. It did not matter that I already had 2 indoor cats at home. I got kitten food and took him home where he ate then went to sleep like he knew that he was finally safe at last. He got along great with the other two cats and ended up being my heart kitty. He was kitty # 3 and he had a long and happy life and passed away after 15 wonderful years. I am on kitties # 6 and 7 now and love them as I have all my cats, but Chino will always have that special place in my heart.
