A local rescue league asked me to tame a feral kitten for them. He was trapped last and was too feisty which was riling up his brothers and sisters who had already been captured the week before and were settling into their new foster home nicely. The plan was he would stay with me for a week and I would send him back to his foster home with his brothers and sisters. My cat Cordelia, who is also a rescue cat, fell in love. I couldn't send her new buddy packing so Oscar became part of the family. He is now a large lap cat weighing in at 15 pounds.
