Pauley, named for his large "Paul Newman" blue eyes, was found abandoned six years ago along a busy Interstate near Sacramento CA. He had a large wound on his head, had been declawed, and suffered from numerous health issues. A kind-hearted person brought Pauley to "The Cat House" feline sanctuary in Auburn, CA where I was volunteering. The first time I saw Pauley, I fell in love. Although he was coming out of anesthesia from a dental procedure, he walked over to me, stood up on his back legs, and brushed against me. That was all it took for me to bring him home, and he is still with me today. Pauley is the most loving, sensitive kitty I've ever had, and we have a strong bond that will last forever.
