Maggie G was a 16 week old puppy when she finally came to our loving home, and the poor little sweetie had endured such terrible abuse from a very early age. She was malnourished, had very little calcium in her young body, had the mange, and to top it off, at the tender age of 10 weeks was tied up and dragged behind a car through the local suburban streets on the NSW Central Coast, and left to die at a dump.
Fortunately, she was discovered by a worker who immediately reported the travesty to the local pound who then passed her on to our local veterinary clinic.
Her injuries and state of health was so bad that the vet seriously considered euthanasing this poor little innocent, however, luck was shining down on Maggie that day as he decided to see if he could save her and bring her back to health.
The result is 7 years on nothing fazes this little girl and she happily enjoys the comforts of a loving human and furry family. Her spirit is truly one of great joy, fun and the love of life!
