I rescued this little guy when he was 12. Having been abused for years, he didn't know what a hug, kiss or pat on the head was, he only knew fear and pain. He had heartworm from being outside and never being to the vets, an eye removed from the abuse and 8 months of meds to clear up all his respitory issues. Two years later, Wally is the sweetest beagle ever who is now in great health, loves us all and is happy to be safe. He now loves to be patted and hugged and will come looking for me when he needs a little loving and a great big kiss on his sweet little nose.
