My daughter got a call from her friend saying that they had a dog that needed a home, and that she was being abused. I said to bring her over here right away. They brought her over in a box and when they put the box on the floor she came popping out. We were told she was 4 or 5 years old.After a few days I noticed that she had lumps in her nipples so I brought her to the vets right away. During her examination they found that her teeth were really bad that she was never spayed, had multiple litters, and had breast cancer. She had scars on her head from where she was hit and she had splits in her ears possibly from frostbite. We were also told that she was about eight or nine years old . We got her all fixed up. We love her with all our heart and she is the best dog ever. She is happy and playful and she will never be harmed again. Her name is Shakira.
