Signature Programs
Girls' Voices
Girls' Voices operates under the belief that girls deserve an education, all girls have a voice, and those voices can change the world. The program works to amplify those voices by providing media training that allows girls to share their stories and ideas for positive change. As they hone their storytelling abilities, they may also win scholarships to help them learn more and make these world-changing dreams a reality.
Those involved in the program say it helps girls become more confident in themselves and be more open in sharing their experiences. To date, participants have addressed a variety of important issues, including education, air pollution, community health, and drug abuse.
Since its beginnings, Girls' Voices has encouraged more than 2,000 girls from 100-plus countries across the globe to share their voices. This has led to more than $210,000 in scholarships.
Matènwa Community Learning Center
Teaching children in their own language and with their own culture in mind enhances their learning experience. That's the idea behind the innovative Matènwa Community Learning Center in Haiti. MCLC combines Creole instruction rather than French, open-air classrooms, and an environment free of standards from other countries, in order to educate children in a nation that can often struggle with education attainment.
Our partnership with MCLC has helped students graduate, with many hoping to bring further improvements to their community. Our contributions have also helped retain and train quality teachers and provide a variety of supplies, including textbooks, pencils, and notebooks.
Several of our other programs have found their way to these students, including Girls' Voices. Over the years, they've also benefitted from a program providing eggs to families, which was helped along by more than $50,000 of your donations.
As you can see, your actions can make a huge difference in the lives of students.

Updates From the Field
Helping Displaced Burmese Mothers and Schoolchildren
Myanmar, or Burma, is currently facing substantial instability following a military coup in 2021 and resulting opposition from pro-democracy groups. The struggle has forced many people to leave home for their own safety. Your support has been helping fund safe delivery of babies for displaced Burmese mothers, along with education for kids from Burmese families.
GreaterGood has been working to support the Mae Tao Clinic near the Thai/Myanmar border for more than 10 years. The clinic offers health care for migrants and refugees, with a special focus onmaternity care, and it supportsdozens of boarding schools for Burmese childrenwhose parents may otherwise be unable to fund their education.
